Carlisle Center Park has trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs, groundcovers, annuals and moss. We have full sun and full shade. We actively compost or solarize all weeds and pruning materials. We collect and chip or use for projects all branches and sticks that fall from the trees. We do not use pesticides or non-organic fertilizers. We embrace the inherited non-native plants that came with the park, and actively seek out native plants for most of our new planting projects. Come learn with us!
